History

ChemPak International, formerly known as Scott Specialty Chemical, was formed in 1981 by Scott McVay. Initially the primary products were inclusion packaging of Eastman quinone inhibitors for resin manufacturing and compounding, such as SMC and specialty coatings, primarily in the thermoset plastic realm.

ChemPak’s Production Operations and Customer Service team has been expertly managed by the same dedicated men and women since the company’s inception. Continual growth and broadening of the product range to include pigments & dyes, catalysts & promoters, custom formulations (solutions, dispersions, powders and pastes) have also lead to new market segments such as inks, part molding, construction material & building products and inhibiting materials for transportation.

ChemPak strives to provide great customer service and support, with helpful, courteous ‘live’ people answering the phone, instead of an automated voice mail system. Each customer will be able to speak with someone from ChemPak in real time either immediately or same day during normal business hours.

ChemPak provides custom chemical handling solutions to companies in North & South America, Europe, Asia, & Australia. Our global presence gives us access to chemicals for import and export worldwide, always striving to provide our customers with the highest quality and most cost effective materials for their manufacturing or product formulation requirements.
